About The Position

As a Principal AI Product Manager at Zoom AI Services, you will own product outcomes at the intersection of AI innovation, platform strategy, and developer experience. You will shape how developers and enterprises build intelligent applications, working across product strategy, experience design, rapid prototyping, and execution. The role offers autonomy to define AI-native product development patterns and involves close collaboration with engineering, AI research, design, developer relations, and go-to-market teams to take developer tools from concept to customer adoption. Zoom AI Services builds AI capabilities and developer experiences that enable developers and enterprises to create intelligent applications and agents using speech recognition, decision intelligence, voice AI, and agentic capabilities. The team aims to make AI accessible, intuitive, and production-ready so developers can move quickly from an initial API call to real-world applications. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three to four days per week at the Seattle, Washington, or San Jose, California office. Remote arrangements are not available. The listed salary range is $171,800 to $375,900; starting pay depends on qualifications and experience, and compensation may vary by location. Zoom’s total direct compensation may include base salary, bonus, and equity.

Requirements

Significant experience leading complex, high-impact technology products, with a proven record of taking ambiguous opportunities from strategy to successful launch.
Strong professional foundation in UX and product design, demonstrated by a portfolio of shipped products with outstanding interaction and visual design quality.
Hands-on experience with generative AI, AI coding assistants, and rapid prototyping tools to accelerate product discovery, design, and development.
Ability to work closely with engineers, understand APIs and platform capabilities, and translate sophisticated technology into intuitive customer experiences.
Experience building developer platforms, APIs, enterprise SaaS, AI products, or similarly complex technical experiences.
Comfort making decisions, building prototypes, and shipping in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities and minimal overhead.
Demonstrated ability to shape strategy and raise quality across teams while working as a hands-on individual contributor.

Responsibilities

Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Zoom AI Services experiences, from developer onboarding and API discovery through production adoption.
Identify opportunities for differentiation through AI-native interactions and product-led growth, translating emerging AI capabilities and developer needs into products with measurable customer and business impact.
Lead end-to-end experience design, from concepts and interaction models to production-ready designs, using UX, visual design, and systems thinking to simplify complex AI and developer workflows.
Prototype, test, and iterate rapidly using Figma, AI-assisted coding, and modern development tools while maintaining high standards for usability, visual quality, and consistency.
Use AI in research, ideation, prototyping, and experimentation, exploring interaction models for AI agents, multimodal experiences, and developer tools.
Partner with engineering, AI researchers, design, developer relations, and go-to-market teams to take products from ambiguous opportunities through successful launches.
Own success metrics across developer activation, time to first value, adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and speed.
Shape product direction across teams through sound judgment, clear communication, and demonstrated results as a hands-on individual contributor.
