About The Position

The Principal Product Manager owns the strategy and roadmap for products hospitals and health systems use to load, model, and monitor payer contracts. The products help ensure reimbursement is calculated accurately, underpayments are identified, and contract terms are correctly applied across the revenue cycle. This role leads discovery and strategy for significant, complex opportunities and guides major engineering teams and investments. It sets a high standard for contract-modeling rigor, requirements quality, and launch execution across Billing Office products. The role oversees contract modeling and rate management; fee schedule and contract loading; underpayment and variance detection; contract compliance and renegotiation support; and contract analytics and reporting. It sets portfolio strategy and investment priorities, develops cost, revenue, and ROI business cases, and establishes outcome-based OKRs. The Principal Product Manager also leads strategic customer relationships and high-stakes conversations, applies AI and prototyping to de-risk complex or regulated initiatives, and helps streamline internal processes for launching payer-contract and rate-related capabilities. The position reports to the VP of Product Management and requires willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time, as well as residence in or near a designated Collaboration Hub.
