About The Position

Every student and educator deserves to feel safe at school–every single day. At Navigate360, we deliver a layered, holistic safety ecosystem that integrates emergency response, alerting, visitor management, reporting systems, and coordinated safety workflows into a unified platform purpose-built for K–12 communities. Central to this vision is NavigateOne–our integrated platform experience that connects safety, behavior, intervention, and data into a seamless ecosystem for schools. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to set the long-term vision, multi-year strategy, and business performance of an entire product domain within our platform-first portfolio. This leader will ensure our solutions both excel as standalone offerings and meaningfully advance the NavigateOne platform through integrated workflows, shared analytics, and unified user experiences–while raising the bar for product excellence across the organization. Reporting into senior Product leadership, this is a highly strategic, individual-contributor product leadership role with enterprise scope and direct execution authority. You will shape domain strategy, influence platform-wide architectural and AI direction, drive measurable growth outcomes, mentor other product managers, and represent Product in executive, board, and strategic customer forums.

Requirements

  • Principal-Level Product Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning a multi-product domain or major platform area in workflow-centric SaaS–ideally in EdTech, Behavioral Health, GovTech, Healthcare IT, or another mission-driven, regulated technology environment.
  • Proven Platform Leadership: Track record of leading product strategy across multi-product ecosystems where shared data models, APIs, and cross-domain workflows are central to the value proposition.
  • Demonstrable Business Impact: History of owning measurable outcomes–ARR growth, retention, adoption, and margin–for product lines at meaningful scale, and translating product strategy into board- and executive-ready narratives.
  • Mission Alignment: Deep passion for applying AI, data, and thoughtful product design to improve school safety, student well-being, and educator effectiveness.
  • Strategic Execution Discipline: Demonstrated experience setting and delivering multi-year strategic roadmaps tied directly to enterprise growth, platform consolidation, and category leadership.
  • Advanced Experimentation & Discovery: Sophisticated background in opportunity sizing, customer discovery, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and scaling validated capabilities across customer segments.
  • Responsible AI Leadership: Working fluency in privacy, data governance, security, and ethical considerations–particularly within regulated or sensitive environments–and a clear point of view on how to ship trustworthy AI.
  • Executive Influence Without Authority: Demonstrated ability to align senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and to influence executive leadership decisions on strategy, investment, and prioritization.
  • Mentorship & Talent Development: Track record of coaching, developing, and elevating other product managers, and of shaping product culture and craft across an organization.
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication–able to translate complex AI, data, and platform concepts into crisp business narratives for boards, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set Domain Vision & Multi-Year Strategy: Define and own the product strategy for a major domain, aligning enterprise platform, AI, and data investments to durable customer and business outcomes.
  • Shape NavigateOne Platform Direction: Lead deep integration strategy within the NavigateOne platform–architecting shared case workflows, unified reporting, and cross-domain insights, and partnering with engineering leadership on platform architecture decisions.
  • Own Outcome-Driven, Portfolio-Level Roadmaps: Build and defend strategic roadmaps that balance customer workflow needs, compliance considerations, AI/data initiatives, and revenue growth–making clear, data-informed trade-offs across competing priorities.
  • Drive Domain P&L and Business Outcomes: Be accountable for adoption, retention, NPS, customer satisfaction, ARR growth, and margin contribution across the product line portfolio–and translate those outcomes into executive narratives.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment at Scale: Orchestrate alignment across Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to drive successful launches, pricing and packaging decisions, and field enablement.
  • Mentor and Elevate the Product Org: Coach and develop product managers, establish best practices for discovery and delivery, and raise the standard for product craft, writing, and strategic thinking across the team.
  • Advance Workflow & Analytics Capabilities: Strengthen intervention management systems, case documentation workflows, reporting tools, and analytics that empower educators and administrators–with a clear point of view on the future of these workflows in K–12.
  • Lead Enterprise Data & AI Strategy: Help define shared data models and AI-driven insights that connect proactive risk mitigation with measurable student and educator outcomes, and set the standard for responsible, explainable AI in the portfolio.
  • Remain Hands-On Where It Matters: Personally write requirements for the most complex and ambiguous initiatives, lead high-stakes prioritization calls, and ensure disciplined execution from discovery to release.
  • Monitor Policy, Market, and Competitive Trends: Maintain deep expertise on evolving discipline frameworks, MTSS models, restorative practices, student well-being initiatives, and competitive moves–and convert that signal into strategy.
  • Engage Strategic Customers and Executives: Partner directly with district superintendents, cabinet-level leaders, and state agency stakeholders to validate roadmap direction, co-create solutions, and represent Navigate360 at industry forums.
