About The Position

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the strategic vision for a major area of the Walmart+ benefits ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining how Walmart+ orchestrates high-value first-party and third-party benefits to create a differentiated membership proposition while identifying the highest-leverage opportunities to increase member value, engagement, retention, and business impact. This is a high-influence role where you will shape long-term investment priorities, define scalable product and platform capabilities, align senior executive stakeholders, and influence how Walmart+ evolves through benefits, partnerships, experiences, and emerging technologies. The Walmart+ Benefits and International Expansion team is responsible bringing our membership value proposition to life and scaling membership globally. We help members engage with benefits that save them time and money while making Walmart+ an essential part of their everyday lives.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in shaping product strategy across multiple related products with broad organizational impact.
  • Manage comprehensive product roadmaps.
  • Advanced skills in stakeholder management, influencing senior leadership through data-backed storytelling and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making, leveraging analytics and experimentation to optimize product outcomes.
  • Rigor using quantitative and qualitative insights, success metrics, dashboards.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs using design thinking and journey mapping to inform product priorities.
  • Technical leadership shaping platform strategy, architecture, reusable standards, and long-term investments across APIs, integrations, identity, data platforms, AI, and ecosystem capabilities.
  • Leadership experience mentoring product managers and promoting best practices within the product management discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

  • Mentor product managers and promote best practices to elevate product management discipline.
