About The Position

The Principal Product Manager at Cardone Ventures is responsible for driving the successful conception, prioritization, development, and internal adoption of capabilities across Hub and Momentum within our proprietary AI powered software product stack. This role requires a relentless focus on identifying high value opportunities, aligning stakeholders across every department, and leveraging LLMs and advanced AI capabilities to accelerate product discovery, decision making, and execution. The individual will serve as the primary product owner for Hub and Momentum, partnering closely with engineering and internal business leaders to define product direction, reduce ambiguity, and deliver strategic solutions across a complex internal operating environment.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of product management experience with at least 2 years in a senior or principal level role owning a product end to end.
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing internal software products, platforms, or tooling in a high growth environment.
  • Hands on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, and prompt engineering in a product or business context is required.
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams in an Agile environment with strong command of backlog management, sprint planning, and release cycles.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of business operations and key performance drivers, including how internal systems support execution, alignment, accountability, and adoption across departments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in LLM prompt engineering, API usage across platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic, and a practical understanding of how to integrate AI tools into a modern software stack and product operating model.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable, and visually representable product specifications, workflows, and requirements.
  • Strong technical fluency without requiring a software engineering background, including the ability to understand APIs, request flows, data structures, system behavior, and implementation tradeoffs well enough to reduce ambiguity before work reaches engineering.
  • High velocity execution and mastery of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, with a proven ability to drive products from concept to launch within tight deadlines while managing stakeholder complexity and maintaining a strong bias toward demos, prototypes, and outcomes over process.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and product decisions into clear, concise language for both executive leadership and frontline teams.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and a fast paced, high growth environment where priorities evolve quickly and results are expected with urgency.
  • Strong bias toward ownership: this individual does not wait to be told what to do and proactively identifies gaps, proposes solutions, and drives decisions forward.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent demonstrated experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the short term feature roadmap (3 to 6 months) for Hub and Momentum, ensuring alignment with company strategy, departmental business needs, and the highest value opportunities across the organization.
  • Ruthlessly identify and implement opportunities to integrate LLMs and AI native workflows into the product function itself, driving efficiency in research, prioritization, documentation, prototyping, and iteration.
  • Independently generate product artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, lightweight prototypes, and decision ready product requirements that reduce ambiguity for engineering and stakeholders.
  • Manage the product backlog with a focus on speed, adoption, and business value, balancing technical constraints, stakeholder feedback, internal operational needs, and high impact innovation.
  • Serve as the key bridge between the engineering team and internal stakeholders across multiple departments, ensuring technical implementation meets business requirements while driving alignment in a highly functional environment.
  • Define and track key product metrics including adoption, usage, workflow efficiency, feature impact, and ROI post launch, using data to inform the next iteration cycle.
