We are seeking a Principal Product Manager, Technical – Hybrid Cloud to drive the vision, strategy, and execution for cloud management experiences across private cloud platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, and public cloud providers including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes-based environments. This is a highly visible leadership role for a product manager who combines deep infrastructure expertise, strong customer engagement skills, and strategic product thinking. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing virtualization architectures with platform engineers, demonstrating product capabilities to customers, and driving long-term product investments with executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of enterprise infrastructure, cloud, platform, or systems management products.
• Proven success defining product strategy and delivering complex technical capabilities at enterprise scale.
• Experience balancing long-term vision with execution-focused roadmap delivery.
• Strong understanding of: Private cloud platforms: VMware vSphere / ESXi, Nutanix AHV, KVM-based virtualization technologies, OpenShift Virtualization. Public cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
• Containers and Kubernetes: Kubernetes architecture and operations, Container orchestration and lifecycle management, Developer and platform engineering workflows.
• Cloud infrastructure and operations: Infrastructure management, Platform resiliency and reliability, High availability architectures, Capacity planning and scalability.
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, GitOps and automation frameworks.
• Ability to engage credibly with platform administrators, cloud architects, infrastructure leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills, including customer-facing demos and technical discussions.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer outcomes and business value.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influencing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building or managing enterprise cloud management, infrastructure management, virtualization, Kubernetes, container, or platform engineering products.
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure management, including virtualization, compute, storage, networking, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud solutions across private cloud platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat) and public clouds (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions with a focus on resiliency, scalability, availability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to engage deeply with customers, partners, architects, and engineering teams on technical requirements, product capabilities, and architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

• Define and Drive the Hybrid Cloud Management Strategy: Own the roadmap and product strategy for cloud management capabilities across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Identify opportunities to simplify infrastructure operations, improve governance, enhance automation, and deliver a consistent operating model across heterogeneous platforms.
• Lead Cloud Platform Integration and Management Experiences: Drive capabilities that enable organizations to discover, provision, monitor, optimize, and govern workloads running across: VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud ecosystems, Nutanix AHV, Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and container platforms, Emerging cloud and virtualization technologies.
• Be the Voice of the Customer: Engage directly with enterprise customers, strategic partners, and field teams to understand cloud operating models, platform challenges, and modernization initiatives. Translate customer needs into product innovation and differentiated capabilities.
• Drive Technical Product Leadership: Work across engineering, UX, solution architecture, support, and go-to-market teams to bring new features from concept through delivery. Provide technical leadership on product decisions involving cloud infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes, and platform operations.
• Evangelize Product Vision and Capabilities: Serve as a trusted product expert for customers, partners, analysts, and internal teams. Lead customer discussions, participate in architecture reviews, deliver product demonstrations, and support executive briefings.
• Shape Market and Competitive Direction: Monitor industry trends across cloud infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes, platform engineering, FinOps, automation, and AI-driven operations. Use competitive and customer insights to influence product strategy and market positioning.
