As a Principal Product Manager, you amplify the product thinking of the teams around you, bring clarity to complex problems, and drive outcomes that span the entire portfolio. You build credibility through depth, rigor, and judgment, and align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time in a senior or staff-level role with demonstrated scope expansion and increasing ownership.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical fluency that enables confident participation in API design, cloud architecture, and infrastructure discussions, without needing to write production code.
  • A track record of shipping technically complex, high-impact products in a B2B or enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Experience applying AI meaningfully to product work, including shipping or collaborating on AI-powered capabilities and understanding how AI integration affects platform architecture and product strategy.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to understand how platform and product decisions create ripple effects across teams, customers, and partners.
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in a SaaS or hybrid deployment environment.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences and provide clear business context in engineering conversations.
  • A proven ability to lead through collaboration, align diverse stakeholders, and drive decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience defining and tracking product success metrics including adoption rates, SLOs, integration velocity, and downstream shipping velocity.

Nice To Haves

  • A hands-on engineering or software development background that provides genuine empathy for the developers and customers supported by the platform.
  • Familiarity with legal technology, professional services software, or compliance-driven industries.
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, large language model (LLM) integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, or agentic-workflow platforms.
  • Experience with Azure IaaS or the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Deep expertise with content collaboration or enterprise content management applications.
  • Hands-on experience with iManage products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and prioritizing opportunities to rationalize duplicate capabilities across product lines into reusable, composable platform services that increase engineering leverage and accelerate delivery.
  • Adapting strategy in response to competitive dynamics, company direction changes, and disruptive market events.
  • Partnering with engineering, architecture, cloud operations, and SRE teams to deliver highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally scalable capabilities.
  • Participating confidently in API design reviews, cloud architecture discussions, and infrastructure tradeoff conversations, bringing product judgment to deeply technical decisions.
  • Driving the integration of AI and emerging technologies into the platform, understanding the downstream implications on architecture, data requirements, and product strategy.
  • Synthesizing input from customers, partners, sales, support, and engineering to shape near and long-term roadmap priorities, ensuring the right tradeoffs are made at the right time.
  • Monitoring competitors and developing compelling differentiation across the products and services offered.
  • Collaborating across engineering, design, data, security, marketing, and go-to-market teams to align diverse stakeholders around a coherent product vision.
  • Communicating product strategy, roadmap, and capabilities to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external audiences, from engineering standups to customer briefings, industry events, and executive briefings.
  • Partnering with product marketing to develop compelling messaging, competitive differentiation, and thought leadership content.
  • Prioritizing development with engineering based on market and customer-facing commitments, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform health.
  • Executing go-to-market launches of new capabilities, working cross-functionally with support, partners, cloud ops, marketing, and sales to enable the organization.
