Customers can also rent or buy titles from the Prime Video Store and access free content with ads. This role is for an experienced Principal Product Manager to manage the media pipeline, responsible for services that receive, review, and process video and audio content from partners to ensure high quality for customers. The position involves deploying AI tools to inspect content and identify issues. The ideal candidate will be data-savvy, strategic, and analytical, focusing on the content licensing technology within the supply chain. This cross-functional role requires defining and executing product strategies for defect reduction and timely delivery of high-quality video content. Collaboration with data science, engineering, operations, other product managers, and executive teams is essential for bringing products to market, developing business opportunities, and enhancing platform capabilities. The duties include formulating business vision, gathering requirements from internal customers and end-users, and translating them into technical specifications for robust, scalable solutions. The Product Manager serves as the technical and business lead throughout the development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conceptualizing, designing, testing, documenting, and shipping the product, while considering tech debt, scalability, performance, latency, and compatibility with technology and business goals.
