About The Position

Prime Video is a leading entertainment platform offering a wide range of premium content across various devices. The Partner Experience team within Prime Video is responsible for building the platform that over 10,000 content partners utilize for delivery, promotion, measurement, and growth on Prime Video. This role is for a Principal Product Manager, Technical, who will identify and own the most impactful partner-facing product opportunities, starting from conception to launch. This is a high-autonomy position for individuals comfortable with ambiguity, where they will define the product roadmap, identify and solve significant problems for partners and customers, and drive execution. The role requires a deep understanding of partner economics, content supply chains, and ad tech, as well as the ability to represent Prime Video to senior partner stakeholders and translate their needs into scalable products.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience in technical product management

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Identify and own the highest-impact product opportunities across Prime Video's partner platform, spanning analytics, monetization, content operations, and partner growth.
  • Operate as a "founding PM" on new problem spaces: conduct deep partner discovery, frame the opportunity, define the product vision, and drive cross-functional execution from concept through launch.
  • Meet directly with content partners to understand their business models, pain points, and growth ambitions; then translate insights into scalable product strategies.
  • Work across organizational boundaries, partnering with Ads, Sports, Devices, AGI, and other Amazon teams to unlock partner value where our platform intersects with broader Amazon strategy.
  • Define success metrics, instrument them, and use data to iterate rapidly and make crisp prioritization decisions.
  • Represent Prime Video externally at partner meetings, industry forums, and executive reviews, positioning us as the most innovative and transparent distributor in streaming.
  • Leverage AI/ML and emerging technologies to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Influence product and engineering roadmaps without direct authority, building alignment through compelling narratives and data-driven proposals.
