About The Position

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the essential partner in the assessment of risk. Within our Insurance vertical, we provide customers with solutions and decision tools that combine public and industry specific content with advanced technology and analytics to assist them in evaluating and predicting risk and enhancing operational efficiency. Our insurance risk solutions help drive better data-driven decisions across the insurance policy lifecycle, all while reducing risk. The Principal Product Manager I is accountable for driving data quality, influencing contributory data strategy, and partnering with Data Governance and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data is managed, governed, and utilized consistently across the enterprise. This role leads the identification and resolution of complex business and product challenges, influencing outcomes across delivery teams, organizations, and disciplines with minimal direction. In addition, this role will propose new business and/or product strategies that reflect the customer's current and future needs and will drive execution. This is a hybrid position based out of our Alpharetta, GA headquarters, with an in-office presence required three days per week.

Requirements

Suggested minimum years of PM or related experience: 10-15 years
Led enterprise data quality initiatives that improved accuracy, completeness, and trust in critical data assets while establishing governance and stewardship practices
Hands experience and ability to independently extract and analyze data, identify key insights, and connect findings to business outcomes through clear, data-driven narratives that inform strategic decision-making.
Developed and executed data strategies while partnering with customers to improve quality, governance and business outcomes
Influenced strategic decisions and aligned cross-functional teams to deliver complex data and product initiatives spanning multiple organizations

Nice To Haves

A degree in Business Administration (MBA), Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline. is strongly preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Establish metrics, KPIs, and quality measures to assess health, completeness, accuracy, and business value
Collaborate with technology partners to influence data modernization decisions, advocate for strong data stewardship, governance practices, and sustainable management of contributory data assets
Partner internally and externally investigate and resolve data quality issues, articulate the business value of contributory data, and foster confidence in data-sharing programs and strategies
Define contributory data stewardship practices, drive root-cause analysis, prioritize remediation efforts, partner with technology teams to implement long-term corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of remediation initiative
Validate product and contributory data strategy based on knowledge of customers, competitors and market trends
Prioritize hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, such as AB testing, while contributing to broader data-analyses strategies and platforms
Develop go-to market strategy and launch plans at the product level through coordination with stakeholders and be accountable for coordinated execution across product, technology, sales, marketing and other customer-facing teams
Leverage data insights and governance standards to guide prioritization and investment decisions
Write and/or consult on requirements across multiple complex and cross-functional feature areas
Drive contributory strategy and roadmap to deliver business impact for multiple products/product lines
Partner with customers to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues while promoting best practices for data stewardship and management
Articulate the value of contributory data participation and help customers understand how data quality and contribution practices support better business outcomes
Understands in depth competitive products and strategy, and how they influence customer decisions
Discerns how value is defined and perceived by each customer segment
Interacts with other companies in their industry domain and engages with start-ups
Validates product strategy based on knowledge of customers, competitors and market trends
Drives formulation of overall research/testing strategy and ensure decisions are based on data
Prioritizes hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, including AB testing, while contributing to broader data-analyses strategies and platforms
Evaluates the balance between quantitative and qualitative data needed for decision making
Is skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed
Is energized by complex issues and problems that require creative solutions
Develops go to market strategy and launches plans at the product level through coordination with stakeholders and be accountable for coordinated execution across product, sales, marketing and other customer-facing teams
Ensures ROI for go to market strategy, including revenue goals
Develops appropriate metrics and tracking of launch initiatives and ensures reporting to stakeholders
Develops positioning, themes and messaging
Evangelizes product for sales, customers and media
Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market, revenue, etc.) to drive effective solutions to business problems and strategic issues.
Oversees the product strategy, planning and execution.
Is a thought leader and innovator for his/her product incorporate emerging technologies.
