About The Position

Product Management Leadership Role, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) At Asurion, we ensure people live their life free of interruptions from their devices they rely on every day. With over 230 million customers globally, we are the industry leader in tech lifecycle care, spanning protection, repair, support, diagnostics, and upgrades across millions of devices and ecosystems. Over decades, we’ve built one of the most comprehensive knowledge graphs in the world around consumer technology—how devices work, fail, and get resolved across real-world scenarios. This depth of expertise powers every interaction we deliver today—and will power the next generation of AI-driven experiences. As large language models reshape how customers seek help and make decisions, Asurion is transforming into an AI-first organization—reimagining how we serve, solve, and sell across the customer lifecycle. About the Role We are hiring a Principal Product Manager, AEO to define and lead Asurion’s strategy for how our knowledge powers answers across GPT apps and ecosystem developing around large language models. This role is not about getting Asurion to appear in LLM-generated answers. It’s about ensuring Asurion’s knowledge becomes a trusted foundation for large language models—informing how they retrieve, reason, and generate answers, so when AI helps people solve real-world technology problems, it’s powered by the depth and authority we’ve built over decades. By doing this, we unlock a fundamentally new growth channel—where influencing how answers are generated becomes as critical as how they are discovered. This role will also lead how Asurion extends its capabilities directly into LLM ecosystems—shaping our strategy for building AI-native experiences (e.g., GPT-based applications) that allow users to interact with Asurion seamlessly within these platforms. This is a zero-to-one role for a builder who has proved the ability to scale products born from ideas and who is excited to write the playbook for an entirely new domain.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of product management experience, including ownership of ambiguous, zero-to-one problem spaces
  • Strong technical understanding of LLMs, retrieval systems (RAG, embeddings), prompting, and evaluation methods
  • Hands-on builder who enjoys running scrappy experiments and learning quickly in undefined spaces
  • Deeply curious about how generative systems work—and motivated to influence and shape them
  • Strong background in experimentation, growth, or acquisition, with the ability to define new measurement frameworks
  • Experience with SEO, content platforms, or knowledge systems, with intuition for how structure and authority drive discovery
  • Comfortable influencing across teams (AI, engineering, content, growth) without direct ownership
  • Ambitious and driven to write the playbook in a new and rapidly evolving domain

Responsibilities

  • Define, lead and execute Asurion’s AEO strategy—how our knowledge powers answers across LLM ecosystems
  • Build a new experimentation discipline to understand how LLMs retrieve, interpret, and prioritize content
  • Define and lead hands-on, creative experiments to uncover what drives inclusion, authority, and impact in AI-generated answers, partnering closely with marketing
  • Translate learnings into scalable playbooks, product requirements, and content strategies
  • Shape how Asurion’s knowledge graph and content systems evolve to support LLM consumption (via strong cross-functional influence)
  • Define how Asurion becomes a foundational input into AI platforms through structured data, integrations, and partnerships
  • Lead the strategy for AI-native experiences (e.g., GPT-based apps) that enable direct interaction within LLM ecosystems
  • Establish success metrics and attribution models for this new channel, connecting AEO efforts to traffic, engagement, and conversion
