Help people create homes they love. Join the Urban Barn team in a Store Leadership role (Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager / Store Supervisor)! With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new store in Lebourgneuf, Québec City this fall! This is a unique opportunity to lead a brand-new store from the ground up. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will work closely with the Regional Manager to foster a positive team environment and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will also play an active role in training and coaching our sales associates to support their growth and performance. Our new store is set to open in early October. We’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Retail Sales Management
  • Experience developing top sales teams and stretching individuals to their full potential
  • Ability to multi-task and collaborate
  • Ability to effectively communicate – provide and receive feedback in the moment
  • Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg

Responsibilities

  • Motivate your team to deliver the best customer experience
  • Lead and support daily store operations, including opening and closing routines
  • Recruit and retain the best talent for your store location
  • Communicate your expectations to the team and provide training, coaching, and feedback
  • Manage store merchandising, inventory, and shrink
  • Lead and maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
  • Grow and manage the business within your community, representing the brand in a professional manner
