About The Position

SK hynix Memory Solution is seeking a Principal Product Application Engineer to support enterprise SSD products. The role focuses on monitoring PCIe NVMe testing and validation, identifying and reporting issues, and ensuring products meet design specifications and customer requirements. The engineer collaborates with SOC, firmware, and hardware teams to debug system issues and support product integration and reliability. The position also provides customer support by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining clear communication.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 10+ years of storage-related experience, or a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 7+ years of storage-related experience.
Proficiency in PCIe protocol, NVMe, and NAND.
Experience with bus analyzers and trace evaluation tools.
Strong proficiency in Python, C, and C++.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Linux Kernel and drivers.
Strong understanding of storage architectures and system-level debugging.

Responsibilities

Oversee testing progress, identify potential issues, and report findings to ensure compliance with design specifications and customer standards and requirements.
Collaborate with SOC, firmware, and hardware teams to address and resolve product challenges.
Coordinate debugging of system issues to support seamless integration and product reliability.
Maintain open communication to facilitate problem-solving and improve product quality.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and responding promptly to help ensure customer satisfaction.
