About The Position

SK hynix Memory Solution is seeking a Principal Product Application Engineer to support enterprise SSD technologies. The team advances enterprise SSD products through PCIe NVMe validation and testing, including system-level tests, feature validation, and bug analysis. The role oversees testing progress, helps ensure products comply with design specifications and customer requirements, and works across teams to resolve product challenges and system issues. It also provides customer support by responding to inquiries and resolving issues.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and at least 10 years of storage-related experience, or a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least 7 years of storage-related experience.
Proficiency in PCIe protocol, NVMe, and NAND.
Experience with bus analyzers and trace evaluation tools.
Strong proficiency in Python, C, and C++.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Linux kernel and drivers.
Strong understanding of storage architectures and system-level debugging.

Responsibilities

Oversee testing progress, identify potential issues, and report findings to ensure compliance with design specifications and customer standards and requirements.
Collaborate with SOC, firmware, hardware, and other teams to address and resolve product challenges.
Coordinate debugging of system issues to ensure seamless integration and product reliability.
Maintain open communication to facilitate problem-solving and improve product quality.
Support customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating promptly to help ensure customer satisfaction.
