About The Position

An established Managed Services Provider (MSP) is seeking a highly experienced Principal Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise network, security, and cloud solutions. This senior-level, hands-on technical leadership role requires deep architectural expertise, strong consulting skills, and the ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients.

The architect will lead client engagements from solution architecture through implementation, provide hands-on technical leadership, advise clients, mentor engineers, and collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams to deliver solutions and support business opportunities.

Requirements

• 15+ years of network architecture and design experience, including 5+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
• Cisco CCIE certification.
• Proven experience in a professional services, consulting, or MSP environment.
• Advanced, hands-on expertise with Cisco Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, Palo Alto firewalls, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Exceptional client-facing communication, consulting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure enterprise networking, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead complex client projects from architecture and design through successful implementation.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to clients, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges, and take ownership of solution outcomes.
• Lead technical presentations, architectural reviews, and client consultations.
• Mentor engineers and establish architectural standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams on solution delivery, technical proposals, and new business opportunities.
