Our Space Systems Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2 OR 3) with a background in conformal coating to join our team. to join our team of qualified, diverse employees on our Launch Systems group in Chandler, AZ. As a leading manufacturer of launch vehicles and aerospace systems, we require innovative thinkers who can help develop solutions for our coating area. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Relocation assistance is not available. Our Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and sustaining the use of Manufacturing Engineering System (MES) work instructions for new production programs. The role will require communication between all stakeholders within the design & production lifecycle to ensure manufacturing processes are accounted for early on. A deep understanding of Integration & Test (I&T) procedures, such as: build sequence, tooling design, work cell layout(s), material handling, troubleshooting/corrective action, safety protocols, and quality assurance is required.
