About The Position

The Principal Engineer is a senior-level position responsible for leading and overseeing the design, implementation, and management of an organization's information security program. This role typically requires a blend of deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. Will develop and contribute to implementation of Governance model for Security practice including but not limited to Azure Cloud & O365. Works with key stakeholders to understand their needs and to approve system and architectural decisions. Will develop and sustain metrics for measuring the maturity of security operations and security posture. Performs internal investigations, including data loss, security incidents or other internal matters. Exercise a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and respect for privacy when conducting investigations. Identify and mitigate insider risks in our infrastructure and processes and support other general insider risk and eDiscovery operations.

Requirements

  • 8 years experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
  • 8 years experience with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
  • General Experience with communicating network security issues to peers and management
  • General Experience Previous Experience with planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
  • General Experience Previous experience with several technical security disciplines such as SIEM, IDS, EDR, network security, vulnerability management or security hardening
  • General Experience Previous experience with Active Directory and Azure
