About The Position

The Principal HW/SW Integration Engineer Lead implements internal data architecture and development activities at the holistic vehicle level. The role ensures end-to-end data and interface compatibility throughout the system, including external interfaces, and defines and maintains internal messages and data flow through the missile. It also supports external message definition with the Ground Weapons System (GWS). The engineer collaborates with FSW, FPGA, and HW teams to close data architecture and hardware/software integration items; supports sequence-diagram development with the architecture team; develops IEIDDs, resolves TBxs, and addresses system-level gaps; and assists with data-architecture updates identified during hardware testing. The role drives closure of hardware/software integration issues from design through testing and initial flight, supports reviews of relevant internal, SDRL, and CDRL interface documentation, and supports hardware/software configuration definition, CONOPS, and parameter management. The position requires an active Secret clearance and 100% onsite work, with travel of up to 25%. Remote work opportunities may be available based on role. Lynx offers medical, dental, and vision coverage options, a 401(k) with employer match, paid time off and holidays, an Employee Assistance Program, and career-growth and professional-development opportunities.
