About The Position

The eCommerce Foundation team is seeking a solution-focused, organized, self-starter to join their Human Resources team as a Principal HR Business Partner. This role will support clients in the eCommerce Services (eCS) organization, which manages various aspects of the customer lifecycle from account creation to post-fulfillment actions. The Principal, HRBP will partner with Leaders to develop and execute HR strategies supporting organizational growth and fostering people effectiveness. This position requires the ability to work independently, establish and execute long and short-term people strategies with a hands-on approach, and interface effectively with professionals at all levels. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to translate business plans into HR capabilities. The role involves helping business leaders anticipate future needs with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, capability, and employee experience. Additionally, the role is accountable for driving global initiatives such as workforce planning, org design, employee relations, and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level
  • Experience using MS Office tools and HR Information Systems
  • 5+ years of HR generalist, management, or business partner role experience
  • Experience delivering complex, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leadership work as an HR generalist, preferably in a high tech environment
  • 7+ years of HR specialist, HR generalist (e.g., HR Business Partner or HR Partner), HR manager, or HR program experience
  • Experience assessing management and executive talent
  • Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
  • Experience communicating and delivering presentations to customers, stakeholders, and/or teammates
  • Experience driving employee engagement
  • Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop their talent strategy to support business growth while maintaining an engaging, respectful and fun work environment.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and skills assessment and development.
  • Coach business partners in career development, leadership and management practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of people plans and solutions to deliver results and sustain a work environment where all employees can thrive and grow.
  • Analyze business metrics and recommend systemic improvements.
  • Partner with the business to lead talent reviews, focused on succession planning, employee growth and development and organizational health priorities.
  • Use data and org health metrics to make decisions and keep leadership informed.
  • Partner with the central HR Partner organization to effectively enable managers, address various employee relations issues, and drive results for the organization.
  • Lead or contribute to various cross-team and/or cross-organizational Stores Tech projects/goals.
