About The Position

We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Risk Workstation Product Area to develop high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team to modernize this critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Java, Angular, Springboot, Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS -EKS.
  • You have hands-on technical leadership experience leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences.
  • You are experienced architecting and producing technical designs and solutions and working with squad members to break these down into deliverable pieces of work
  • You have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and influence in meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture.
  • Application design & development experience across the following: Relational Database (ideally Oracle), REST API development
  • Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS is a plus)
  • Experience with Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Background in brokerage trading applications/systems a plus
