Principal Financial Analyst
About The Position
We are seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join our Enterprise Operations Finance team. This role is designed to lead strategic financial initiatives, including business case development, forecasting, and analytical processes. The position plays a critical role in delivering on financial commitments while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency across a strategic portfolio. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

- Experience operating in a complex matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations
- Good judgment, problem-solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence management skills
- MBA or Advanced Degree
- Operations Finance experience
- Cost Accounting experience
- Experience with Medtronic financial systems
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic financial projects, including business case development and investment analysis
- Critical thinking and analysis required to challenge cost and savings assumptions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and decision support
- Develop and maintain financial models, trends, and study subjects such as rates of return, working capital, cash flow, investments, etc.
- Drive, implement, and support continuous improvements in reporting processes to focus on value creation activities.
- Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prepare presentations of financial results for Monthly Financial Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Program reviews.
