About The Position
This role supports Senior Management decision making via financial modeling, including but not limited to, revenue requirement and customer bill impacts, discounted cash flow analysis and financial statement modeling. This position identifies and conducts complex analyses of financial impacts of issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company. - Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

Responsibilities
- Assist in NextEra’s reporting process with all groups including Accounting, Business Management, Operations, Power Marketing, Tax, Corporate Departments, etc.
- Prepare monthly MOPR and Board reports including but not limited to: EBITDA by Business, GAAP to Management EBITDA walk, Distributable Cash, Hedge Gross Margin, Summary Financial Results, etc.
- Prepare quarterly reports for earnings release including but not limited to: EBITDA/CAFD, PTC roll-off, various EPS sensitivities, etc.
- Prepare slides related to areas of reporting in support of Strategy Pitch, Budget Pitch, Investor Conference, and Board Meetings as needed
- Prepare annual corporate indicators package and track performance throughout the year
- Perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by Management, Treasury, NEE Forecasting, Investor Relations, etc.
- Assist Business Management in the preparation of the annual operations review and annual financial review budget meetings
- Understand the overall NEER reporting products and provide analysis that highlights material items to management
- Assist with testing of reporting changes related to changes in business strategy and accounting guidance as appropriate
- Partner with IT and NEP forecasting to further automate EBITDA/CAFD reporting
- Develop/maintain documentation including instructions, policies and procedures relating to reporting activities
- Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department’s forecasting models
- Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
- Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services
- Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies
- Makes recommendations on financing decisions and executes long and/or short term financings
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management
- Acts as a mentor to lower level employees
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
