Principal Consultant, PSO, OMNI Functional (OLM) positions offered by Manhattan Associates, Inc. (Atlanta, GA).

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical field and 4 years of post-bachelor’s experience in a software related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience deploying software.
  • 4 years of experience troubleshooting SQL databases.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated or 3 years of academic study towards a bachelor’s degree or a 3 year baccalaureate in in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated.
  • 2 years of experience working in a client or customer facing role within a supply chain, retail store system, customer service solutions, or point of commerce solutions or software organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross function teams including sales, R&D, product development and related.
  • Assist in design of enhancements and improvements to Manhattan Associates systems based on client requirements and map system integrations.
  • Ensure the development of professional client relationships, client satisfaction, and referencability.
  • Train clients on system configurations and capabilities.
  • Manage means by which to quantify metrics for success at go-live and thereafter.
  • Identify critical business, technical, and/or operational issues and drive issues to closure.
  • Manage the technical aspects of enterprise level software implementations with the assistance of project technical resources.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of Manhattan Associates’ software implementation methodology.
  • Ensure the project team proactively identifies and troubleshoots critical issues, maintains and prioritizes project issue lists, suggests solutions, and escalates when appropriate.
  • Train junior consultants on Manhattan Associates system integrations and installation.
