About The Position

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Principal to lead Business Development go-to-market strategy and planning. It establishes targeting and prioritization criteria, develops the hunting playbook, and coordinates handoffs and co-selling with Community sales and GTM teams when opportunities involve Community or multifamily solutions. The Principal owns the cross-channel Business Development pipeline view and operating cadence, sets CRM pipeline standards, leads pipeline reviews, and tracks pipeline health and conversion against business goals. The role develops market sizing and potential models by channel, geography, segment, and account; translates potential into targeting lists and territory goals; analyzes competitive presence and win/loss patterns; and advises senior and executive leadership on Business Development investment priorities. The role also aligns CG offers to segment needs, develops value propositions and selling stories, coordinates GTM planning with Channel GTM, Product, Marketing, Pricing, and Sales, and tracks offer performance. It builds relationships with Business Development leaders, channel sales teams, and partners. The position requires compliance with health and safety guidelines, confidentiality, and maintaining professional and technical knowledge. It is based in Oak Brook, Illinois, with a hybrid designation, and requires travel up to 30% within North America.
