About The Position

As a Principal Architect at Omnidian, you are the visionary leader responsible for the technical excellence of our entire CRM platform. You move beyond system ownership to influence the strategic technology direction of the entire company. Reporting to engineering leadership, you will lead proofs of concept for emerging technologies and define the organizational processes that ensure our systems remain reliable, agile, and scalable. You will moderate high-level technical discussions and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our CRM ecosystem serves as a world-class foundation for global solar performance assurance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in high-growth environments, with a proven track record of leading platform-wide architectural changes.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and System Architect credentials.
  • Hands-on experience researching and introducing Agentic AI or large-scale AI integrations into enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in Event-Driven Patterns, Pub/Sub API, and Platform Events to lead a decoupled, platform-wide architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience defining organizational engineering KPIs and agile processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in professional Object-Oriented Development (e.g., Java, .NET, or Python) outside of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience with Data Cloud, Databricks, or Snowflake, specifically regarding data ingestion and harmonization for Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, S3, or EventBridge for off-platform architectural extensions.
  • Prior experience in the energy or renewable sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical excellence for the whole platform, specifically targeting long-term system reliability and reducing time to delivery across all teams.
  • Define the engineering processes used across the organization, focusing on high-level KPIs, discipline, and agility.
  • Act as a high-level coordinator and moderator for technical discussions, providing feedback that aligns multiple teams with the company’s technological "North Star."
  • Serve as the ultimate authority on enterprise-level security and global scalability, ensuring architectural integrity across the entire company portfolio.
  • Actively research, create proofs of concept, and introduce entirely new technologies to the engineering organization to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Lead the high-level implementation strategy for Agentforce and Einstein AI, moving the organization toward autonomous, agentic system designs.
  • Champion and define the standards for "AI-augmented" development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to multiply velocity and quality across the entire engineering department.
  • Evolve the architecture not just for current requirements, but as a visionary leader ensuring the platform supports future business pivots and massive scale.
  • Architect deeply decoupled systems using Event-Driven Patterns and Pub/Sub API, ensuring seamless integration across diverse off-platform services (AWS, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Lead the research and adoption of advanced patterns that improve the speed of delivery and fault tolerance of our enterprise integrations.
