The successful candidate must be flexible as business needs and priorities evolve.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Presales, Solution Consulting, technical presales, or Solutions Architecture within Insurance (P&C, L&AH) and/or Retirement & Pension Administration, including public or private pension systems, group benefits, or policy, billing, and claims administration.
  • Deep working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic orchestration, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience configuring sandbox environments, using low-code or orchestration tools such as Power Automate and agent builders, working with APIs and webhooks, and preparing structured and unstructured domain data for realistic POCs.
  • Proven experience leading technical presales engagements and authoring AI narratives, architecture responses, and value-add content for major RFPs, RFIs, and BAFO presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex AI capabilities into quantifiable business metrics, including processing-time reduction, automated intake throughput, and expense-ratio improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, storytelling, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage C-level executives, underwriters, claims professionals, and enterprise architects.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive alignment across Sales, Presales, Product Management, Professional Services, and Information Security teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Flexibility to take on evolving tasks and responsibilities, shift priorities, learn new technologies, and contribute to work beyond the initial scope.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience defining AI governance, compliance, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop oversight patterns for regulated financial-services organizations.
  • Familiarity with consumption-based or credit-based SaaS commercialization and pricing models.
  • Experience with AI adoption programs, enterprise enablement, responsible AI, or AI governance.
  • Experience creating reusable AI demos, Sales Engineering playbooks, reference architectures, technical specifications, or presales enablement content.
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms, core insurance systems, policy administration, claims, underwriting, customer experience, or retirement administration solutions.
  • Experience influencing product strategy through customer insights and market feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Lead executive briefings, technical discovery sessions, and structured AI workshops to identify high-impact use cases with carriers, TPAs, and retirement boards.
  • Architect and deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept or value, showcasing standard and custom agentic workflows such as submission intake, clearance automation, quoting, claims triage, billing inquiries, and pension benefit calculations.
  • Build rapid prototypes and workflow automations using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, enterprise search and agent builders, and product APIs; configure demo environments with guardrails, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and sample domain data.
  • Develop AI value summaries, time-savings calculators, hit-rate and conversion analyses, and cost-benefit business cases for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Act as the technical AI subject matter expert for strategic presales pursuits, RFPs, RFIs, and BAFOs; create technical narratives, architecture inserts, product-roadmap positioning, and AI credit consumption proposals.
  • Guide account teams and prospective customers on AI packaging, credit-based commercial models, and consumption forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Product and Professional Services on joint delivery plans, reference implementation patterns, exception-handling frameworks, and customer due-out trackers to support post-sale handoffs.
  • Train and mentor Solutions Consultants, Sales Engineers, and Sales teams; maintain reusable presales collateral, pursuit trackers, use-case catalogs, technical FAQs, security and governance guidance, and demo scripts across P&C, L&AH, and Retirement.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, edge cases, integration requirements, and technical objections into product enhancement and roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
