Principal AI Solutions Architect

Cynet Systems•San Jose, CA

About The Position

The Principal AI Solutions Architect reports directly to the Director of AI Strategy, Transformation & Delivery and works within a global engineering ecosystem of more than 350 people. The role combines hands-on technical architecture with workforce education and technical evangelism. It owns technical enablement across seven engineering personas, the account-wide Reusable AI Asset Factory serving more than 100 active engagements, and co-architecture and delivery of production multi-agent AI solutions. The position involves designing and personally delivering training, coding labs, workshops, and hackathons; building reusable production-ready AI assets and supporting the Elite AI Core Guild; and partnering with business and architecture leaders to identify high-value workflows and deliver AI transformation solutions. Production deployments must meet enterprise security requirements and optimize token usage and costs. The stated pay range is $60.00–$65.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Applied AI/ML.
  • At least 3 years of experience architecting Generative AI and multi-agent systems.
  • Demonstrated experience personally delivering instructor-led classroom trainings, hands-on coding labs, developer workshops, and engineering hackathons to multidisciplinary teams of 100 to 350 or more people.
  • An active cloud professional certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Professional Data Engineer.
  • Hands-on mastery of modern agentic AI frameworks and stacks, including multi-agent orchestration tools such as ADK, Vertex AI Agent Engine or Agent Builder, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen; A2A protocols; and MCP tool development.
  • Production proficiency in Python and TypeScript or Go, as well as experience with gRPC service design, Protocol Buffers, and REST or federated connector APIs.
  • Experience with advanced RAG architectures, vector search, Enterprise Knowledge Graphs, BigQuery, AlloyDB, and Spanner.
  • Experience building LLM-as-a-judge evaluation harnesses and hill-climbing accuracy frameworks, and implementing prompt-injection guardrails such as Model Armor or DLP, and CI/CD telemetry.
  • A demonstrated record of building reusable engineering frameworks and leading an AI Center of Excellence, Developer Relations or enablement program, or Architecture Guild.
  • Exceptional communication and classroom facilitation skills, including coaching junior and mid-level practitioners and explaining multi-agent architectures and business ROI to senior executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working within or delivering complex engineering programs for a major hyperscaler ecosystem.
  • Experience transitioning traditional engineering teams across software, data, SRE, QA, support, BSA, and UX into AI-augmented, outcome-based delivery teams using AI coding assistants such as Gemini Code Assist, Cursor, Windsurf, or internal agentic IDEs.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical enablement for a global delivery workforce of more than 350 people across seven personas: Software Engineers, Data Engineers, SRE and DevOps, QA and Testing, Technical Support, BSA and Product Owners, and UX Designers.
  • Design persona-specific learning curricula and personally conduct classroom training, hands-on coding labs, architecture workshops, and XX-bag clinics tailored to project workflows.
  • Organize and run account-wide AI hackathons, prompt-engineering challenges, and Build-a-thon sprints that turn project pain points into working AI prototypes.
  • Build and maintain sandbox lab environments and capstone exercises, and guide certification study cohorts for the Lateral FDE Launchpad cohort and internal Technical Leads.
  • Own and architect the account-wide Centralized AI Asset Repository, turning project innovations and hackathon results into modular, production-ready assets for more than 100 engagements.
  • Design, standardize, and maintain reusable Agent Skills, enterprise system prompt libraries, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors.
  • Develop agentic evaluation harnesses, including LLM-as-a-judge autoraters, synthetic QA test suites, and drift telemetry.
  • Implement enterprise data onboarding accelerators, Enterprise Knowledge Graph pipelines, and AI security guardrails, including DLP redaction, Model Armor, and policy-as-code.
  • Provide technical direction to a 10-member Elite AI Core Guild across Forward Deployment, Agentic Workflows, Data and Knowledge Graphs, and Governance and EvalOps pods.
  • Partner with the Director of AI Strategy, Transformation & Delivery and domain architects to audit workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and design outcome-driven AI transformation roadmaps.
  • Co-lead architecture and MVP delivery for multi-agent solutions such as ticket triage engines, privacy and compliance review workflows, spatial knowledge graphs, and enterprise resource planners.
  • Enforce enterprise-grade security, zero-trust identity, VPC-Client routing, and token and cost optimization across production AI deployments.
