About The Position

InfoMagnus is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to help enterprise clients transform software development and business operations through agentic AI. The role leads the design and delivery of real-world agentic systems and helps shape AI-driven software engineering practices.

The Principal AI Engineer serves as a technical leader on client engagements, combining hands-on engineering with architecture, mentoring, and strategic guidance. The position is approximately 50% hands-on engineering and 50% architecture, leadership, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership.
• Strong Python expertise, plus TypeScript, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
• Hands-on experience delivering LLM-powered or agentic applications beyond proof-of-concept.
• Experience with coding agents, autonomous workflows, evaluation loops, or multi-agent orchestration.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native development, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Ability to lead technical conversations, architecture decisions, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic software engineering workflows across the SDLC.
• Build production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems integrated with enterprise platforms.
• Architect orchestration frameworks, including dependency-driven workflows, evaluation loops, and autonomous task execution.
• Extend coding-agent platforms through custom tools, MCP integrations, APIs, SDKs, skills, and automation.
• Lead AI maturity assessments, workshops, and enablement programs.
• Build observability, governance, security, and evaluation frameworks into solutions.
• Mentor engineers and help establish reusable agentic engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture, and strategic guidance on client engagements.
