About The Position

Resilience Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Therapist for a full-time clinical role in Massachusetts. The therapist will provide individual and group therapy in a structured outpatient setting, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and/or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. The role supports clients navigating mental health and substance use conditions through client-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative clinical environment. The organization offers PHP, IOP, and standard outpatient services, with dual-diagnosis treatment and culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

Requirements

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
Massachusetts license or license-eligible status (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, or equivalent).
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and experience working with diverse populations.
Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in a behavioral health or mental health treatment setting.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group therapy to clients in a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and/or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) setting.
Develop and maintain individualized, client-centered treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and complete ongoing clinical documentation accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff to coordinate care.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically indicated.
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with regulatory, licensure, and documentation requirements.
