About The Position

Bridges to Recovery is seeking a Primary Therapist in Beverly Hills, CA. Since 2002, Bridges to Recovery has distinguished itself as a licensed residential mental health program devoted to world-class care. By merging intensive integrative psychotherapy with holistic, multidisciplinary practice in a serene, home-like environment, we pioneered a new model for the treatment of mental health disorders. Designed as an innovative alternative to hospitalization, we established our first six-bed facility on the Westside of Los Angeles to provide comprehensive clinical care in an intimate and stimulating environment in which clients could enjoy peaceful surroundings, natural beauty, and comfort. Bridges to Recovery is seeking a FT Primary Therapist to join our team in Beverly Hills. The main responsibility of the primary therapist is to provide exceptional clinical care including assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and therapy to clients and their families.

Requirements

  • Master required.
  • Licensed as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC in the state of CA required.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex clinical presentations and high to medium degree of acuity required.
  • Comprehensive assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills required.
  • Experience working with families required.
  • Certification or proficiency in various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, EMDR, SE, IFS) required.
  • Comfortable working in a team setting, in a highly collaborative environment required.
  • Comfortable communicating promptly with referral sources required.
  • Computer typing skills and ability to use various software programs, including EMR software required.
  • Commitment to maintain strict confidentiality required.
  • Candidates must pass a live scan background check.
  • Candidates must pass an 11-panel drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a residential treatment center preferred.
  • Case management and discharge planning skills preferred.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Complete suicide assessments, bio-psycho-social assessments, treatment plans, licensing documentation, progress notes of sessions, and other documents within required time frames.
  • Coordinate with treatment team clients’ ancillary care and other therapeutic services.
  • Update families and referral sources on clients’ progress in treatment.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with treatment team, families, and referral sources.
  • All other duties as assigned by the executive clinical director.
