Primary Therapist
About The Position
Monte Nido Rosewood Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona, is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide therapy to clients and their families. The program uses a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to treat eating disorders, co-occurring addictions, and other disorders across inpatient, residential, transitional, and outpatient levels of care. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, including weekdays and potentially one evening and one weekend day to support clients and families. The therapist may also be asked to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during low census or to address coverage needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree, at minimum, in clinical counseling or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed or license-eligible in a counseling field, such as Psychologist, LMFT, or LCSW.
- Prior experience treating people with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly family therapy and caregiver coaching calls.
- Facilitate group therapy for clients and families.
- Provide meal support with clients.
- Participate in ongoing care management.
- Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and intersecting identities.
- Support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.
