About The Position
American Health Network (AHN), part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Primary Care Resident for its Physician Pathways program in Indianapolis, Indiana. The program is designed for physicians transitioning into their final year of residency or fellowship and provides a pathway to guaranteed employment upon completion of training. Participants receive a guaranteed salary during their final year of training and learn about practicing in a value-based care model, including the Quadruple Aim framework and different care settings. Experienced physicians in the future practice provide mentorship to support the transition from training into practice. The customized program is delivered at American Health Network facilities in Indiana or Ohio, and virtually, and requires only a few hours per month. AHN is a physician-led, integrated healthcare delivery system operating more than 70 medical offices in Indiana and Ohio, with 1,200 employees. It cares for more than 325,000 patients. Requirements
- M.D. or D.O.
- Must be transitioning into the final year of residency or fellowship.

- A local physician resident in Indiana is preferred; candidates from other areas may also be considered.
