About The Position

First Medical Associates is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for its Crofton, Maryland location. The company is a corporate-backed, technology-forward primary care group operating 18 locations across Maryland. Physicians see no more than 2.5 patients per hour, with 99% of patients scheduled in advance. The practice is outpatient only, with no call, hospital work, nursing-home rounds, or required procedures. The position offers clinical support staff, Athenahealth EMR, AI-driven scribing and coding tools, and dedicated staff for inbox management, prior authorizations, and care coordination. The advertised total compensation package potential is $345K+, including a $250K base salary, RVU incentives, quality-measure incentives, and a sign-on bonus. Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Maryland medical license, or a license in progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Deliver outpatient care in a setting where patients are generally scheduled in advance.
• Make independent medical decisions.
• Coordinate patient care with support from a dedicated case manager and other clinical support staff.
