About The Position

The Primary Care Physician provides direct primary medical care to participants of the PACE Program as part of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). The position supervises clinical medical care provided by Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and Medical Assistants. The role requires flexibility to travel throughout the PACE service area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Valid MD license in good standing to practice medicine in the State of Kentucky.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including the IDT Team and external healthcare providers.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the PACE service area.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship or additional training in Geriatrics.
• Experience working with frail or elderly populations.
