About The Position

Humana's Primary Care Organization is a senior-focused, value-based care provider with more than 340 centers across 15 states operating under the CenterWell and Conviva brands. The Primary Care Physician will join the CenterWell University City office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-time, onsite position reporting to the Associate Medical Director. The role delivers comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients, including diagnosing and managing moderately to complex medical conditions, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating referrals and specialist collaboration.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• At least 2 years of experience in value-based care or managing high-acuity geriatric patients.
• Participation in a Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with senior populations or in value-based care settings.
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs).

Responsibilities
