Primary Care Physician - $60K Signing Bonus
About The Position
Humana’s Primary Care Organization is a senior-focused, value-based care provider operating more than 340 centers across 15 states under the CenterWell and Conviva brands. CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, and minor injury treatment. Its integrated care teams focus on personalized experiences and whole-person well-being. The Primary Care Physician will join the CenterWell office in Burlington, North Carolina. This is a full-time, onsite, patient-facing role reporting to the Physician Lead. The physician will care for adult and senior patients, manage moderately to complex medical conditions, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with specialists. Physicians are also expected to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including a signing bonus, relocation assistance, and benefits. The stated base pay range is $255,000–$298,500 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least 2 years of experience in value-based care or managing high-acuity geriatric patients.
- Participation in a Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with senior populations or in value-based care settings.
- Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs).
