About The Position

One Medical is a primary care solution focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023 and aims to deliver exceptional health care while building a diverse, driven, and empathetic team. This full-time Primary Care Physician role is based in Portland, Oregon, at the North Williams location. The schedule is described as four days in clinic and one day remote. The physician manages a broad patient panel, providing acute, chronic, and well visits in office, at testing centers, and occasionally through telehealth. The role includes collaboration with in-office and virtual clinical teams, ongoing learning, in-office procedures, and supervision of one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. The base salary range is $253,200 to $302,700 for a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule; additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding specified qualifications and requirements. Eligible regular team members working at least 24 hours per week and their dependents receive benefits starting on the date of hire. The position's work schedule may change based on business direction.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting at One Medical.
Hold an Oregon state license before the One Medical start date.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
Communicate successfully with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Be an integral team member dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in the office or at testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
