About The Position

Posterity Group LLC is seeking Primary Care Physicians to staff The St. Cloud VA Healthcare System. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and care coordination for a panel of primary care patients. Physicians will be responsible for documenting patient care, referring to specialists when necessary, monitoring team performance to ensure adherence to VA standards and quality of care, and leading the team in resolving patient concerns. Outstanding customer service is expected.

Requirements

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
• At least 3 years of Primary Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and coordination of care for a panel of primary care patients.
• Appropriate documentation of patient care in clinical records is expected.
• Refers to specialists when additional input and treatment outside of the scope of the physician's experience and training is required.
• Is responsible for monitoring PACT team let performance to assess adherence to VA standards, assure quality and effectiveness of care, and meet VA performance measures.
• Outstanding customer service is expected.
• Leads the team in assisting the patient advocate and administration in resolving patient concerns and inquiries.
