About The Position

KLS Workforce Solutions is conducting a confidential search for a dedicated, patient-centered MD or DO to join a long-standing private outpatient practice in Snellville, Georgia. The practice emphasizes community involvement, continuity of care, preventative medicine, and chronic condition management. The physician will join a collaborative clinical team of three physicians and three advanced practice providers, supported by experienced administrative staff.

The role has a four-day on-site clinical schedule, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and a dedicated remote administrative day on Fridays. The outpatient family and adult medicine practice focuses on wellness exams, chronic disease management, and acute visits, with an average of approximately 25 patients per day. The start date is immediate or as soon as possible.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine from the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Federal DEA registration.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Strong communication abilities and a commitment to relationship-based community medicine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical evaluations and routine health maintenance exams.
• Manage acute and complex chronic illnesses, including hypertension, diabetes, and COPD.
• Perform routine in-office procedures, including minor wound care and joint injections.
• Collaborate with the physician group and provide supervisory guidance for mid-level clinicians.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical record documentation in a timely manner.
