About The Position

The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their medical complaint. The Physician works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals and focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare within their specialty. Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate. Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join an Outpatient, Primary Care practice in Dexter, MO. Practice Details: Join a multi-specialty, outpatient clinic 3 Primary Care APPs 2 Urgent Care APPs 1 Clinical Psychologist and 1 LCSW Subspecialty presence with clinic: Interventional Cardiology, OBGYN, Nephrology, Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinic also has a Pharmacy, Imaging Center, Laboratory, and a Fitness Center This is an opportunity for a Primary Care physician to build a practice from the ground up within the current Primary Care clinic. Ideal candidate would see an average of 17-21 patients a day (currently the MGMA median EMR: Epic After hours calls are done via a RN call service. Work environment/day-to-day work: Work schedule: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm outpatient clinic;4.5 work week with 0.5 day for admin.

Requirements

  • Medical license in the State
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA
  • Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program
  • Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships
  • Must be Board Eligible and complete certification within reasonable timeframe once hired, or be Board Certified
