About The Position

Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. (AMS) is seeking an experienced Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to provide onsite medical support at a remote industrial location in Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador. This role offers a consistent rotation, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment. The PCP will be the primary healthcare provider on site, responsible for managing both emergency and non-emergency situations.

Requirements

• Primary Care Paramedic licensed in Newfoundland and Labrador (required)
• Current BLS (ACLS considered an asset)
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently in remote settings

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Experience in industrial or remote site settings
• Occupational health or emergency response experience
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency medical care within your scope of practice
• Respond to workplace injuries and medical emergencies
• Conduct patient assessments and manage treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and reports
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives
• Manage medical supplies and ensure clinic readiness
• Work independently in a remote, resource-limited environment
