About The Position

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care LPN works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The LPN partners with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities are performed in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards. The position is in the Primary Care department at Mercy Hospital Perry in Perryville, Missouri, and is a full-time, day-shift role with weekend work.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensed as an LPN in the state of practice.
Work well as a team member and collaborate with all members of the care team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Customer service orientation.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and positive attitude.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-directed and able to perform tasks within scope of practice independently with minimal oversight.
Able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
Able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Nice To Haves

Six months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
