About The Position

Operates Folding Machine by performing the following duties. Reads and interprets blueprints. Calculates bend allowances for various material types and thicknesses. Sets-up, adjusts, and operates Folding machine to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of work. Sets-up, adjusts, and operates Folding machine to run prototype jobs and new parts orders. Writes set-up sheets and understands advanced programming functions. Inspects parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection data. Cleans and organizes work area. Computer experience is required.

Requirements

• Computer skills are a must for this position.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization in small groups or one-on-one.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
