About The Position

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for executing pricing updates, maintaining cost accuracy, and ensuring data integrity across systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting margin performance by validating cost components, resolving data issues, and ensuring pricing inputs are accurate and reliable. This position is best suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys problem-solving across systems and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred; or one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typing proficiency of 50–60 WPM required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, CoPilot.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to interact and clearly communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in beverage alcohol, CPG, wholesale distribution, or pricing analytics
  • Experience working with enterprise pricing or ERP systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance

Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain pricing updates across systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support promotions, pricing file management, and allowance (DA) setup
  • Validate pricing outputs to ensure alignment with expected margin outcomes
  • Maintain and verify cost components, including FOB, freight, tax, and other applicable costs
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in cost or pricing inputs before they impact margin
  • Support cost corrections, including FIFO adjustments and system updates
  • Investigate and resolve pricing and margin issues, including COGS and data discrepancies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, A/P, A/R) to resolve downstream data issues
  • Validate supplier-provided data and ensure completeness before system entry
  • Support onboarding of new products and suppliers, including cost setup
  • Run and maintain pricing and cost reports to support operational needs
  • Assist with identifying drivers of margin changes (cost, price, mix)
  • Follow established SOPs and contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Team email responsibility
