About The Position

The Pricing Specialist II is responsible for analyzing market trends, supplier performance, internal developments, and objectives to facilitate the ongoing development of Arrow's adder and quoting strategy. This role involves facilitating interaction and feedback from segment managers, product specialists, and sales management. The specialist will monitor, measure, and report on supplier market price performance, prepare negotiation materials, and support the negotiation process. They will collaborate with technology business managers and product specialists to establish negotiation strategies for strategic customer quotes and associated supplier strategies. Additionally, the role facilitates communication with suppliers regarding customer and quote priority and monitors, measures, and reports performance metrics specific to market price, ensuring data is segment, supplier, and selling company specific.

Requirements

  • Incumbent has knowledge and experience in own discipline and may still be acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Incumbent builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of straightforward problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. A moderate level of guidance and direction is provided.
  • Incumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Limited guidance and direction is provided.
  • Strong excel experience required including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry required
  • Experience working with government drawings
  • Experience working with BOM
  • Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).
