About The Position

The Pricing Lead is expected to perform audit analysis of customer pricing data and promotional pricing using custom applications (VIP). This role requires strong strategic and tactical skills with a solid understanding of the various forces that impact pricing. The Lead will be responsible for the daily maintenance and accuracy of data contained within the systems used by the DSD Accounting and Sales teams. The impact of this role includes maintaining data integrity and consistency by assuring that all pricing conditions are correctly loaded into VIP, conducting daily pricing audits in VIP comparing to pricing alert forms, and performing random audits of VIP to ensure all data is accurate and up to date. The Lead must manipulate, validate, and creatively analyze large sets of data using various statistical and mathematical models, requiring strong Excel skills. This role also involves effective communication, initiative, multi-tasking, and prioritization. The Pricing Lead ensures that monster pricing strategies are adhered to, manages new item set up within VIP SRS ensuring accurate reporting in iDig, and acts as a support resource for iDig/SRS/KARMA. Daily management of VIP help and VIP disputes is also a key responsibility. The Lead ensures Karma Call points are up to date with buyer data and audited monthly. They will manage chain creations, mergers, distributor setups, and related employee assignments to VIP & SAP via DSD Change forms, including chain form updates. Additionally, the Pricing Lead is responsible for guiding and training a team of pricing representatives, streamlining and implementing more efficient job processes for them, and brainstorming more efficient ways to streamline work processes for the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, or Finance
  • Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Business and personal computer hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Establish and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others
  • Providing excellent customers service with both internal and external customers
  • Accurate and timely 10 key data entry for pricing

Responsibilities
