About The Position

PACCAR Parts is hiring a summer intern for its Pricing Department in Renton, Washington. The intern will learn pricing strategies and PACCAR value drivers, develop data analysis skills using industry-leading tools, build relationships and communicate with suppliers, and use time management and prioritization to keep projects on track. The role provides hands-on experience with AS400, SIS, and Servigistics applications.

The intern will support pricing and parts-management work, including processing NOFs (Not on File Parts), managing parts updates in the ASI system, researching competitive data, supporting price actions, collaborating across teams, and presenting pricing concepts to senior leadership. The position may offer relocation assistance. Interns are eligible for PACCAR’s listed benefit options.

Requirements

• Strong PC and data skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Interest in automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a self-starter mentality.

Nice To Haves

• Marketing or Economics coursework or internship experience.
• Python or AI project experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to process NOFs (Not on File Parts) to improve customer uptime.
• Manage parts updates in the ASI system, including price, cost, sourcing, attributes, and new supplier product offerings.
• Use AI tools to automate reports, identify business opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Product Marketing teams on cross-functional initiatives and pricing activities that support the dealer network.
• Research eCommerce websites to update competitive data benchmarks.
• Support price actions and objectives to drive profit growth and market share expansion.
• Present pricing concepts to senior leadership.
