About The Position

The Pricing Coordinator checks vendor deliveries against packing slips, confirms products are in saleable condition, and helps ensure the company receives appropriate credits for shortages or breakage. The role maintains accurate store pricing by comparing shelf prices with system prices, updating pricing and receiving records, and hanging or replacing shelf tags and signs, including display and weekly-ad signs. The position also maintains the receiving area and provides helpful service to customers who ask questions on the sales floor. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Maintain good working relationships with vendor delivery personnel while accurately verifying deliveries.
• Read and write effectively and accurately perform basic math, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Perceive pricing tags, invoices, and delivered products.
• Have good problem-solving skills.
• Maintain positive working relationships with personnel, vendors, and customers to achieve positive results for the company.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, reach (including above the shoulder), twist, bend or stoop, squat, and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Check vendor deliveries against packing slips and verify that products are in saleable condition.
• Ensure the company receives proper credits for short deliveries or breakage.
• Ensure shelf prices match current prices in the system.
• Hang and replace shelf tags, display signs, and weekly-ad signs.
• Enter receiving and pricing records into the system.
• Update and maintain all aspects of store pricing in a timely manner.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the receiving area.
• Assist customers who approach with questions while on the sales floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
