About The Position

The Pricing Analyst for Wood-Mizer plays a key role in upholding and advancing that commitment by developing strategies that keep the customer at the center of every pricing decision while balancing business objectives. An experienced analyst with a strong analytical foundation will take ownership of recurring analyses and influence real commercial decisions while ensuring that every pricing decision is customer-centric. Work Arrangement/ Work Location: Hybrid work within the greater Indianapolis area. Candidates living outside the state of Indiana will not be considered for this position. Those living in the greater Indianapolis, IN area will receive greater consideration. Relocation assistance is NOT available for this role. Visa Sponsorships: No Travel Requirements: International travel is required for this role, about 5% of your time will be spent traveling internationally.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategy, value positioning, and how pricing decisions shape the customer experience.
  • Curiosity and comfort working with emerging technologies including AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of pricing analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate promotional effectiveness and translate competitive insights into customer-friendly pricing recommendations that meet business objectives.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to cross-functional audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of basic financial concepts that supports informed and customer-centered decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, business analytics, or similar role
  • Experience working with transactional data, pricing data, pricing models, cost structures, and margin analysis preferred

  • Business intelligence platforms — Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau experience is a plus
  • Syteline ERP — experience is a plus
  • Salesforce CRM — experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing performance across products, regions, and channels to ensure Wood-Mizer remains competitive and accessible to customers and potential customers.
  • Pricing maintenance, new product pricing, and pricing structure changes that reflects the value customers deserve.
  • Establish competitive pricing benchmarks through feature and value comparisons that keep Wood-Mizer's offerings industry leading and relevant.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness to ensure promotions are meaningful, easy to understand, and deliver value.
  • Monitor price realization to identify opportunities that align pricing with the customer experience.
  • Build and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and recurring reports that support transparent and informed pricing decisions.
  • Ensure pricing data is accurate and consistent; reflecting the trustworthy brand standard for which Wood-Mizer is known.
  • Ensure pricing supports the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support forecasting and analysis that helps Wood-Mizer plan pricing strategies with the customer in mind.
  • Shape, refine, and adapt pricing, promotion, and commercial guidelines that appeal and serve customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
