About The Position

Canon USA is seeking a Pricing Analyst responsible for managing pricing strategies and dealer compensation for new products, promotions, and programs. This role supports pricing approval processes, ensures pricing accuracy, and delivers sales trend analysis, working to improve pricing processes and consistency under management guidance. The position is full-time with a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence three days a week. The Pricing Analyst will act as a subject matter expert for State and Federal contract and bid pricing, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning. They will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Management teams to develop optimized pricing responses under tight deadlines and drive business insights through monthly sales trend reports evaluating performance against forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Superior communication, relationship building abilities, and creativity
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Managing pricing strategies and dealer compensation for new products, promotions, and programs
  • Supporting pricing approval processes
  • Ensuring pricing accuracy
  • Delivering sales trend analysis
  • Working to improve pricing processes and consistency, with guidance from management
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for State and Federal contract and bid pricing, ensuring full contract compliance and competitive positioning
  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Management teams to develop optimized pricing responses under tight deadlines
  • Driving business insights by preparing monthly sales trend reports that evaluate actual performance against projected forecasts
  • Analyzing profit to determine acceptable levels for Canon USA and partners, while understanding competition and customer’s environment to win business
  • Maintaining price files with required changes or additions after the contract is awarded
  • Working with partners to determine competitive service pricing, manage print services and Professional services
  • Working closely with product marketing, contracts team and inventory management to coordinate product launches and publish pricelists
  • Working closely with the Service Planning Division using their tools to thoroughly evaluate profit
  • Recommending price and dealer compensation for review and approval by management
